At my
core, I'm a healer and educator.

heart's passion and joy is helping people.
My
intention is to use all of the gifts that
I am the steward of to expand awareness and to contribute to the lives of others. To accomplish this, I compartmentalize my schedule- painting some days, others participating in energy medicine healing and research, then writing & illustrating my books & visiting with performances in healthcare facilities. Ms Atwater is a peer reviewed, respected, documented and published international medical intuitive and distant energy healer who collaborates and works with the world's leading doctors, researchers and medical facilities. Her pioneering internal intuitive anatomical diagnosis (energy anatomy) and healing energy work establishes evidence based research that creates and documents the bridging of traditional and alternative holistic healthcare into integrative medicine.. Atwater is an art medicine pioneer in the USA and globally, by scientifically documenting the healing energy, diagnostic abilities and healing benefits of her healing art- Paintings That Heal™, and Healing Art for Children™. At age 16, the North Carolina Museum of Art chose one of her paintings for their permanent collection. "PBS" did a TV program on her artwork, and she has been featured on TV's "PM Magazine" in a national special, on "Crook and Chase" & interviewed on numerous TV and radio shows. Her work has been in many major national magazines ("W", "Town & Country", "Robb Report", (et al) and newspapers. Her designs for Neiman Marcus, USGA, Horchow, Shaw rugs, Waverly, Orvis, Domestications, JC Penney's, etc, are seen in many national catalogues and retail stores. In 1987 Brent founded the Just Plain Love™ Charitable Trust to benefit Children and other worthwhile causes as her way of giving back to the world. She authors and illustrates her Just Plain Love™ Books, that turn the negatives of illness into heart warming and reassuring positives! Each book about "hands off" subjects is a gateway of communication between the patient, their caregivers, family and friends. These books offer a holistic integrative form of pediatric medicine that evokes each reader's imagination to triumph over negative events so their soul and emotions are in a place of inner peace and emotional wellness no matter what their human body's condition.
